I.How It Will Be Working From Home

What is the best work based from home job for you is entirely a personal and professional decision. It is a big step from being employed to working for yourself, so plan as far ahead as possible and think about the effects on all areas of your life to prepare yourself, before you leave your job. Whether you own a full-time, home-based business or your job allows you to occasionally work from the comfort of your home, there are many things that can distract you from getting your work done.

Before you up and quit your day job, you need to look at many different things that can and will affect your ability to work from home. If you work at a job that stresses your back--medical work, warehousing, mechanical occupations, and garbage collection are top contenders. You may need to do more than just practice good lifting technique. Another area of consideration when trying to determine the best work based from home job for you is whether you are a “creative” person or a more business-minded person.

At the other extreme, those who are working at home for the first time, may be tempted to relax all day long, watch television, go to the local pub or whatever it is they like to do, and never actually settle down to any work. For those who have a daily grind of commuting to their job, sometimes long distances and for an hour, two hours or even more, the thought of working at home may seem like a dream.

If I manage to achieve the same success working from home during the day as I have over the last year working a few hours here and there in my spare time I’ll be well on my way to becoming a full time home business entrepreneur. Should I decide to do this I’ll be taking the huge step from working on my business in my spare time to earn some extra money, to working half the week for myself. With action I mean the following, be willing to invest some of the money you have earned working for a boss.

Wouldn't you love to be one of those people on the other end of the line providing that information, working at home being your own boss, starting every day with checking your bank statements just to notice that you've made another heap of money while you where sleeping. It is always good to know the experiences that other people have had with the business opportunity that you are researching. Many people facing the threat of being laid off do not have a clear, transferable set of skills that they can use in their own business.

If you are interested in taking part in an MLM business, it is the best idea for you. Once you build downline, you will have working team with same goal "work from home". For more information about MLM business, make sure you follow the link in the recourse box below now.

I.Toys For Teaching Infants

When an infant reaches the age of three months, he begins to become playful. He starts playing with anything he sets his eyes on. Anything that fits in his hand or has something that is able to be grabbed on it.

This is also the stage in a child’s life when he begins what is called “teething.” That means that the child is beginning to grow his first set of teeth in and he is anxious to give them a go, which means that anything that the child picks up goes straight into his mouth.

That is why it is important that the child is given toys that are appropriate for this stage. Anything that he picks up may contain pieces that come off easily when pulled. This could pose a danger for a small child, seeing as how they could choke easily on anything that enters their mouth.

That is why toys for their age have been created. Not only are these toys fun for children that age, but they are also educational. Infants are also in a stage where they are beginning to learn new things and specially designed infant toys aid in their learning of new things.

For babies who love to place everything in their mouth, there are all kinds of toys that are soft and squishy that can go in their mouth without posing any kind of threat to their health. They come in all shapes and sizes, but they all serve the same purpose. They are for infants who love to put things in their mouth. With these toys, your child can do that without any danger.

Another thing to consider is that children at this stage are always open to learn. Making sure they learn the right thing should be a priority.

One such toy is a device with several buttons that produce musical sounds when they are pushed. Several babies at this age enjoy hearing music. Depending on the kind they hear, they are relaxed by it. When they play with these buttons, they come out with their own unique “songs.” Who knows? Your child may become the next Beethoven or Mozart and this little device could help them in that process.

Another toy is another machine, but this one helps the child learn new words. These machines vary, seeing as how some teach words for animals, objects such as a lamp or book, or other words. These devices have been known to help children with new words and recognition of objects.

Infant toys such as these should be able to help babies in the first stages of their life. They are very open to learn anything and it is imperative that they learn the right things the right way. They may not know as much as adults do, but that means their mind is open to learn anything that comes their way. Thankfully, there are infant toys available to babies that help the, learn the basic things in their early life.

II.Where To Take Your Kids When They Say "Mom I'm Bored!"

"Mom, I'm bored!"

How many times have you heard your ten year old exclaim this on a Saturday afternoon, only to follow you around while you tried to do laundry or iron or cook dinner? Children may expect you to be their entertainment committee, but there are things you can do to keep them entertained for hours without eating up your entire Saturday or Sunday afternoon in the process.

The roller rink is a perfect place to take your kids on a Saturday. Almost every town has a local rink, and it is good for many ages. For about $10.00 a child, skate rental money if they don't own their own, and perhaps some extra money for snacks or lunch, you can usually bet on a good three or four hours of entertainment. Many of the skating rinks have video games and a café as well, so if your child is done with skating he or she can still be entertained. If your child is young, a chaperone will obviously be needed, and perhaps you and a neighbor can take turns and alternate weekends. If he or she is of the age where "dropping off" is appropriate, there is usually an open skate complete with the music of the moment that your kids will surely enjoy. Of course, he or she is getting exercise along with having fun so you can rest easy that this is a positive activity all around.

Another good place, depending on the season and your locale, is your local commercial dairy farm. True, it is a bit different, but it can be packed full of things to do for children of all ages. For the little ones, a simple tour of the farm can be full of wonder and amazement. Usually all you need to do is ask and those in charge will be more than happy to show your little one around. He or she can see the cows up close and even pet them in their stalls. They may get a tour of the production facility if they are a bit older and it can hold their interest, which can take a good amount of time. Often there will be other animals on the farm, and both younger and older kids will enjoy visiting with the barnyard animals. If your child's boredom occurs during the warm spring or summer months, it may be strawberry season and you may be lucky enough to have a farm that honors the age-old tradition of strawberry picking! If it's October and pumpkin season, perhaps you will be able to find your next perfect jack-o-lantern with your kids or even take a haunted hayride if it's close enough to Halloween. A hayride might just be possible no matter the season, so it can't hurt to ask! Of course, before you leave the farm don't forget to get a taste of their sure-to-be-homemade ice cream. The tour guide will probably give a cone to your little ones for free. Again, this Saturday or Sunday treat will be an educational source of entertainment for your children and cost you almost nothing.

Almost every parent falls back on the movies or the mall, if their child is old enough, but what about getting them outside for some fresh air instead? Surely you can open your back door and let the kids play in the yard any day of the week, but if you physically take them to a playground it will be something different. Bring the dog, if you have one, and get the most ‘bang for your buck' - your dog will be worn out by the end of your visit, and the kids can help with the wearing-out process! Both your children and your pet will have the benefit of a new play yard, and there will likely be other children to join in the fun, or even other dogs. There is bound to be a swing set, sliding board and jungle gym. Even if you own these and have them in your own backyard, they will likely be different than your own and hence more entertaining for your youngsters. Bring a ball or your dog's favorite toy to play fetch, bring some snacks for the kids, and get out there and play with them yourself! If you are fortunate to share the park with a pond or lake, you may need to bring some bread and you can feed the ducks there as well. Just getting outdoors to the park really can be a good hour's worth of fun at the least.

Any of the above recommendations will force your child to stop the "I'm bored!" exclamation. By the time you get home from any one of the three, your little boy or girl will most likely be ready for a nap and you may too - so look forward to your relaxation.

I. Preschool Educational Games For Maths, Easy As 1,2,3.

Preschool educational games for maths are so important, children learn more, and at a greater speed, during their preschool years than at any other time.

We need to show them the positive side of learning, that it is not Work, but Fun to learn.

Children love the magic and mystery of playing with numbers, they will delight as they begin to grasp number, and its fundamental meaning, but this is not something that will happen over night, it will take time and patients.

Singing number songs is a great start to introducing your child to numbers.

There are many number songs, and also many CDs and DVDs, that can help you if like me you are not a natural born singer. But it is the enthusiasm you put into the songs, which will have your child asking for more!

Children need to do hands on activities such as Sorting and Matching before they will understand that counting is actually referring to sets of items. We can encourage our children through a wide range of activities so that they can understand and enjoy learning maths. Some great games can include learning maths with shapes, ordering and sequencing and games for counting and recognising numbers up to 10.

Preschoolers naturally want to sort things by colour, shape, and size. When you are watching your child play, you will see this tendency in action, as they try and make sense of the world around them.

They naturally sort their cars by colour and their blocks by size. Watch a child with a handful of crayons and they will often separate the crayons into the different colours that they see.

You can use this need to sort things to make learning early math skills exciting for preschoolers.

Learning to distinguish between things is a major accomplishment for your little preschooler. Whenever possible, let your child help you sort things around the house.

In the kitchen you could sort the fruits and vegetables by colour or the spoons by size or when doing the laundry, sorting the socks by size and color.

Putting things in order or sequencing is a basic maths skill that some children will do naturally, they may put objects in a certain sequence based on size or arrange items of clothing in colour. Your child may arrange his cars in a line from the smallest to the largest.

Ordering can be a fun game, as children begin to think about the sequence of their day, and gain an understanding of the calendar and seasonal timetable.

You can make your own activity cards that your child can put in order, for example, pictures of your child getting out of bed, cleaning his teeth, having breakfast, going to nursery, having dinner, having a story read before going to bed and your child asleep.

Doing simple picture activities like this is a fun way for your child to look at his day, and also understand the order of the day.

Another great picture ordering activity is one of growing up. A picture of a baby, child, adult and an old lady. Talk to your child, about where they are in the order. Children love talking about themselves and this is a great way to talk to your child, and help them learn about ordering.

There are some fantastic learning games for preschoolers to help them learn about shapes, there are also plenty of free activities that you can do at home.

Simple craft play will help your preschooler learn shapes easily and naturally.

You could make small cards with colourful shapes on them, so that when you talk about shapes you can point to them and make comparisons with every day objects, such as round like a plate or square like a window. This will make your child see everyday objects in a new light and firmly place these fun ideas in their memory.

Another idea for a learning games for preschoolers would be, to make you own play dough, and ask your child if they can find shaped items around the house to use as cutters, perhaps using the shape cards, to help him remember what shape is what.

Whatever games you are playing remember to keep talking to your child about each shape, has the shape got corners?, how many sides has it got? so that he learns the important words and phrases to do with shapes.

Dont forget to do 3 dimensional shapes to!

Books that focus on shapes and color are a great way for your preschooler to learn.

A brilliant collection would be the Mr Men books, your child will gradually begin to recognise the shapes the more you read the books. Point to the shape and let your child trace their finger over the outlines. The more you show your child, the faster he will learn and understand the differences in both 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional shapes.

Of course play is the greatest way to learn, other learning games for preschoolers could be a simple Block Building game. Try building different shapes with the blocks and ask your child to find a block of the same shape.

Even tidying up gives you more opportunity to teach, instead of just putting things away try asking your child to pick up all the squares or all the triangles first. You can also do this with cardboard boxes from around the house, kitchen towel cylinder tubes, cereal boxes, or even make your own box!!

There are also many Shape Sorter Toys available that will teach your child all about shape and color, you can even get Shape Dominoes and Shape Bingo learning games for preschoolers.

Art is a brilliant way to teach your child about shapes, these painting and sticking games are great fun and help to reinforce your preschoolers creativity at the same time.

Have fun making houses, rockets or even a robot out of squares, circles, triangles and rectangles. Put your collages up on the wall and talk about the shapes you have used.

All children develop their numeracy skills at different speeds, so it is essential that each child is given the opportunity to develop at his or hers own speed.

Before your child learns to count they need to understand that one equals one item, two equals two items and so on. This is a difficult skill for your preschooler to learn, so have patients, and encouraging your child, will go along way.

You can help your child by doing a small daily activity.

Laying the table is a good idea, as it gets done every day, which is good practice for your child. You could do this in a play situation, do a teddy bear picnic, and let your child share out the sweets or cakes to each of their teddy bears.

Use very small numbers to start with and as your child gets his understanding of association number and quantity, start adding another one at a time.

As you count objects together touch each one. This helps children to understand that they are counting one thing at a time. A good way of doing this is at story time; The Three Bears is a good one to start, as it repeats up to three, many times. Then gradually as your child successfully does it by himself, give a more challenging book.

It is important to build your childs confidence so that he is not uncomfortable with numbers.

To help your child understand the order of number and number symbols, you could make your own number cards, with the number symbols on one side and the number of spots on the reverse.

Lay out the cards with the spots on up to five at first, and ask your child to put them in the correct order. When this is achieved you could make the game a little harder by taking one of the numbers out and see if your child can tell you what number is missing.

Educational toys games for preschoolers will make them a step ahead of the rest, with confidence in themselves and dealing with numbers.

I.How To Survive Grocery Shopping With Kids In Tow

“Before kids I used to happily peruse the supermarket aisles, slowly selecting interesting new items, scrutinizing labels and creating a few evening meals in my head as I shopped. Now I have two small kids and my creative shopping days are over. I run through the store and I am lucky if I get half of the essentials that I need to get through the week,” writes a frustrated mom when asked about her biggest daily stressors.

With small children in tow, visits to the supermarket can be unproductive and filled with anxiety. An extra twenty minutes of indecision, waiting at the deli, or traveling unneeded aisles, is just enough time for kids to lose their marbles and cause the parent to flee the store, shopping incomplete.

Supermarket shopping must get done, and bringing the children, for the majority of parents, is the only viable option.

Survival Tips

Create a weekly menu.

On Sunday, find 7 simple dinner recipes made with basic, healthy ingredients. Include an easy lunch menu for 7 days and then decide breakfast choices for the week. The Food Network website yields hundreds of tasty, easy to prepare meal ideas like beef stroganoff and tacos. Writing a weekly menu will relieve the stress that families feel each evening when deciding what’s for dinner, leaving more time and energy for family time.

Make a list.

Using the weekly menu, make a shopping list on the front of a plain envelope (reason for envelope in next tip) of all of the items needed to prepare the week’s breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. The food list complete, go through the house and add to the list, beverages, paper, cleaning, and bath and beauty products running low. A pad of paper and pen in an accessible area lets family members jot down items they need.

Study the floor plan of the grocery store.

It is really helpful to know the layout of the grocery store when creating a grocery list because the list can be made to correlate to the store. For example, if the deli is the first place passed and the dairy is next and then meat, deli items should be grouped at the top of the list followed by all of the dairy items and then meat. Although seemingly obsessive-compulsive, correlating the list to the store layout eliminates doubling back and can save enormous amounts of time.

Clip coupons.

After the list is created, find coupons that match items on the list. Only use coupons for those items regularly used, or those items the family might enjoy trying. Put the coupons needed for the current shopping list into the envelope with the grocery list printed on it. Place a check next to those items on the list that have a coupon. Don’t add extra items to the list just to use a coupon. Compare prices, sometimes another brand might be cheaper than the brand with the coupon.

Do be creative with the weekly menu to incorporate coupons, for example make chicken instead of pork chops if there is a chicken coupon. Don’t compromise on health to use a coupon; don’t buy a 10% juice beverage with a coupon instead of 100% juice without a coupon or settle for high sugar cereal with a coupon in place of a healthy cereal without.

Choose off-peak hours.

It is much more efficient and pleasant to schedule supermarket visits when the store is empty. Mornings, after people are at work and older children are in school, are quiet in grocery stores and lines are short or non-existent. Later evening for working parents, or early mornings on weekends are typically light. Take note when visiting or just call and ask a store manager, “When is the store is at its most quiet?” Schedule visits during off-peak hours. Workers are much more pleasant and helpful on a whole when not facing hoards of impatient customers.

Hug the perimeter.

The healthiest items in the supermarket are found along the perimeter of the store. Fresh produce, meats and seafood, and the dairy cases all sit along the outer edges. The majority of cart time should be spent along the perimeter. Fresh foods are, more often than not, healthier than the ready-to-eat foods found in the middle aisles. The amount of sodium and fat added to fresh foods while cooking is up to the cook, not the manufacturer.

Ask for help and bring a pen.

Supermarket workers are knowledgeable and generally willing to help. Instead of wandering the aisles in search of a product, ask. Staff will often go out of their way to locate a hard to find item. The butcher can slice cuts of meat and chicken exactly as recipes call for, saving prep time at home. It is perfectly reasonable and a good use of time to alert the butcher or deli clerk, and shop while they are preparing the order.

Bring a pen and cross items off of the list as you put them in the cart, or you will waste time checking and rechecking your list.

Finally, accept the bagger’s offer to bring bundles to the car. Let the bagger push the cart, load the groceries into the car, and return the cart. The parent can keep the kids safe in the parking lot and buckle car seats and seat belts. Safer and a time saver – and baggers often like to get out of the store.

I.Important Questions to Ask Before Getting Married

It's time to get introspective! By taking the time to honestly assess your feelings and your motivations, you will be able to ascertain your degree of readiness for marriage.

Ask yourself the following questions:

What do I love about my partner?

As a psychotherapist specializing in couples and marital therapy, one of the first things I ask is “What do you love about one another?" If the answers indicate little depth, serious trouble is indicated. Replies such "because she's pretty” or "he's fun” are troubling signs, indicating surface attraction. Once, to my horror, a client replied "Because we like the same kind of pizza.” Needless to say, this is not a foundation for a long lasting relationship!

Happily, after considerable introspection, many couples are able to identify their attraction to positive partner qualities such as compassion, intelligence, and an ability and willingness to communicate effectively. After all, if you can't talk openly with your partner, the relationship is not solid. Perhaps more important, self-aware couples are able to recognize areas for potential growth, and develop a plan to jointly work on their relationship.

Some, especially new, couples may view such questioning as cynically casting doubt upon their whirlwind romance. Nonetheless this type of critical self-reflection is vital in determining ultimate compatibility. Indeed, it doesn't take a relationship advice guru to realized that a little work now could save a lot of heartache later.

Relationship Advice: Important Questions To Ask BEFORE You Get Married

Why am I asking this person to marry me?

For example, are you proposing because your partner is pregnant? If that's your primary reason for getting hitched, I suggest you reconsider, because studies show that you will grow to resent your partner and child.

Relationship Advice: Important Questions To Ask BEFORE You Get Married

Can we work through problems?

If you've been with your partner for a long period of time, you have likely experienced some rough patches. Take a look at those patches to determine how you dealt with them as a couple, and note what you did well or identify areas for improvement. Do you feel comfortable discussing any problem with your partner?

Relationship Advice: Important Questions To Ask BEFORE You Get Married

Can we communicate?

Talking is not necessarily the same as communicating. You need to be able to talk to this person in your life in a constructive way. If you have already argued, you already know if this is possible. We don't always get along with the people we love, but we should be willing to get along with them most of the time and try to love them when we are feeling negative about them. If you felt like you came away from the situation understanding the other person better, you are able to communicate.

Important Tip:

If you have ever walked away from an argument feeling degraded or unsatisfied, you might want to work on your couples communication skills a bit more.

Relationship Advice: Important Questions To Ask BEFORE You Get Married

What are my conceptions of marriage?

Everyone has a different pre-conceived conception of what marriage means; some of us are influenced by family experiences, some of us by mass media depictions of marriage, some focus on the magical wedding day and think everything else will fall into place, while others dream of children and building long-term memories. What are yours? Are they at least similar to your partners? I hope so!

Relationship Advice: Important Questions To Ask BEFORE You Get Married

Do we share the same values?

While this doesn't necessarily include religious or spiritual ideals, sharing the same values is going to be helpful in ensuring future harmony. For example, you will need to be able to share some values in order to make decisions together, parent together, and to live in the same home together.

Important Tip:

Conflicting values can be fun to debate when you're first dating, but having to live with someone who never agrees with you is not a strong foundation for a marriage.

Relationship Advice: Important Questions To Ask BEFORE You Get Married

Do we share the same religion?

If you have strong religious beliefs, you should be able to 1) share them with your partner or 2) respect your partner's differences. There are many couples that do not share the same religion, but they still need to be able to respect their spouse's beliefs and have their spouse return the favor.

Important tip: Those that do not share the same religion will want to create a plan on how to deal with this in terms of children and holidays.

Relationship Advice: Important Questions To Ask BEFORE Getting Married

Where are we financially?

Marriage is certainly not about money, but making a note of what you have in terms of financial assets is certainly going to help you create a solid foundation. You need to be honest with your partner about your financial situation and they need to be honest with you. If you do not discuss money, this can create conflict in your marriage. In fact, financial stressors are one of the leading causes of divorce.

Action for the day: Perform some type of financial planning as a couple. Make notes regarding your financial situation as it relates to your tastes and standard of living. If you're fiscally responsible and your partner has a penchant for designer shoes and is drowning in credit card debt, can you manage this divide? Are you and your partner compatible in living within your means?

Relationship Advice: Important Questions To Ask BEFORE You Get Married

What are our differences?

Are you and your partner fundamentally different? If so, can you live with those differences? This can be anything that you feel strongly about or something that you simply dislike. For example, every one of us have “dealbreakers” which are things that we categorically will not tolerate. They represent a bare minimum requirement that should never be breached because it would often result in the end of the relationship. Do you need your partner to change in certain areas, or can live with them? Be honest, and save yourself future aggravation! Speak now or forever hold your peace, remember?

Action For The Day:

Make a list of your “dealbreakers” and share them with your partner. This will ensure that you are both on the same page regarding your expectations for your relationship.

A little introspection with respect to the above questions will help you ascertain your personal readiness for marriage. But that doesn't mean that you shouldn't think of your partner's feelings as well. Next, we address your partner's readiness for marriage. After all, it takes two!

Questions To Ask Of Your Partner

It's quite easy to get wrapped up in the idea that you are the only one that needs to consider your feelings regarding marriage as you're the one that's going to do the 'asking,' but this is only partially true. Yes, you do need to consider your own readiness, but you also need to question if your partner is ready as well.

Here are some questions that you can ask yourself about your partner to determine if this is a person that is ready to marry you:

Relationship Advice: Important Questions To Ask BEFORE You Get Married

Are they willing to share things with you?

While all of us have small secrets, being married requires teamwork and a willingness to discuss some uncomfortable things. If you find that your partner isn't someone that shares things with you, you may want to reconsider whether they will make good marriage material. If they do not share themselves with you, then by definition you do not truly know them. In addition, you will likely find it difficult to communicate with them or even get a sense of what they are thinking.

Relationship Advice: Important Questions To Ask BEFORE You Get Married

Have they already discussed marriage?

When you're in a long term relationship, the topic of marriage should be broached at some point. Even if you never plan to get married, couples should talk about the possibility and the probability. A sign that your partner is ready or close to being ready for marriage is this discussion – this often indicates they have given the idea some thought and have begun to ask themselves if they are ready.

Relationship Advice: Important Questions To Ask BEFORE You Get Married

Do they see your relationship as a team effort?

If your potential spouse treats your marriage as though it were a team effort, it usually means they respect your input and opinions and are looking at things in the long term. Also, if your partner actively treats you as a permanent couple, this is likely a sign that they want to be a permanent couple.

Relationship Advice: Important Questions To Ask BEFORE You Get Married

Has your partner had positive role models of marriage in their life?

If your partner came from a family that did not provide an example of a stable marriage, then they may have a slightly harder time adjusting to the idea of marriage or long term commitment. This doesn't mean they are unfit for marriage, but it can be an obstacle in terms of them harboring different opinions about love and relationships.

Relationship Advice: Important Questions To Ask BEFORE You Get Married

Where do I see our lives heading?

Many people forget that the proposal is simply just one moment in which your lives will change forever. And while this moment is beautiful and timeless, you need to think more about what happens after your partner accepts a ring.

It's important to show your significant other that you have been thinking about the future and not just about the proposal. This is probably the most romantic gesture of all and it tells your partner that you are in this for the long haul.

You can relay this feeling to your partner by talking about the future after you propose or before you propose. Creating a vivid, happy picture of what your future together will look like is a great way not only to set up the perfect moment for popping the question, but also helps ensure that you are both ready for the wonderful ride!

If your partner isn't clear about what they want from your relationship, this isn't a problem necessarily, but it can be something that you might want to think about before you ask the big question. A partner that isn't quite sure what they want may indicate that they are not yet ready for marriage, or not easily satisfied. Of course, at the point you are ready to propose, you should already have an idea of your future potential as a long term couple.

Relationship Advice: Important Questions To Ask BEFORE You Get Married

Do I really know the person I Plan to marry?

It's easy to become swept up in the moment of proposing. If you've only been together for a few months, you're probably feeling as though nothing will ever go wrong between you – that all will be happy and blissful.

However, the truth is that whenever you put two people together, you will inevitably experience some sort of disagreement or some rough patches. That's life, and unforeseen stressors can occur in the form of sudden unemployment, illness, the passing of family and pets, etc.

There is no hard and fast rule regarding how long you need to know someone before you get engaged, but you should be asking yourself just how much you know about the person you wish to spend the rest of your life with.

And you should consider how much they know about you.

Consider your partner's family. Have you met them? Meeting your partner's family is a great way to learn more about your partner, and gives you clues regarding their upbringing and caregiver models.

Relationship Advice: Important Questions To Ask BEFORE You Get Married

Do you know your partners goals and dreams? Do you know what your partner would if they only had the chance?

Warning!

You should not get engaged to someone with the belief that you will “grow to love them” or get to know them more as you are married. This is almost always a recipe for disaster. Put simply, you should become engaged to someone you know well right now. While it's true that people change over the course of a marriage due to maturity and basic human development, but you should have a good idea of the essential nature of your partner.

Relationship Advice: Important Questions To Ask Before Getting Married

Do your partner's family and friends like you?

While the opinion of your partner's family and friends isn't the defining factor regarding the validity of your relationship, you do need to consider any problems as potential obstacles to true bliss. If your partner's mother, for example, is always berating you, you might have to deal with this for the rest of your life. Even worse, if your partner never stands up for you, can you live with that?

Some relationships may always be difficult, so you should ask yourself if that's something you will be able to deal with in a mature and honest manner.

Though it's true that you want to do as much as you can to ensure that you have positive relationships with the important people in your partner's life, you also need to be willing to acknowledge that people generally do not change, but they can soften over time. In other words, thoughtfully consider, but don't get over attached to the opinions of your partner's family and friends.

Unfortunately, even if your partner's friends and family don't like you, you still need to treat them with respect. This will help to maintain civility and keep your partner from feeling like you are exacerbating the situation.

On the other hand, if you notice that your partner never stands up for you, this can create stress in your relationship. Additionally, if your partner always defers to the opinions of others, such as friends and family, this may create obstacles with respect to big decisions like children and career moves. Also, when a partner is constantly seeking others outside of the marriage for advice instead of conferring with his or her mate, this is a predictive indicator of relationship problems.

Relationship Advice: Important Questions To Ask BEFORE Getting Married

Do we share similar interests?

Think of the time you've spent with your partner thus far. Are you able to spend time together pursuing similar interests? While you don't have to share all of the same hobbies and activities, you do want to have some things you can enjoy together.

For example, perhaps you both love the same sports team and look forward to watching and attending games together. Or you may both be fitness enthusiasts that like to workout together.

Think of the activities you already enjoy together to determine if you have aspects of your lives that you can share over the long haul. If not, maybe it's time to find something that you can both enjoy together.

Relationship Advice: Important Questions To Ask BEFORE You Get Married

Are we able to live individual lives too?

Here comes the flip side to the above recommendation: It is also vital to maintain balance in your relationship. While you want to have similar interests in your lives, you also need to maintain your own individuality without any interference from your partner.

In the beginning stages of a relationship, you will always want to be together – at work, at home, etc. But as the relationship evolves and you learn more about each other, you need to step outside of your comfort zone and find out what makes you happy on your own.

In short, you need to get your own life! While your partner may be a high priority in your life, you also need to nurture your own learning, hobbies, and interests in order to grow as a person.

What's more is that the more you learn about yourself and about what you enjoy, the more you bring into your relationship.

The old joke is that older couples run out of things to say because they've already said everything – but this is not necessarily the case when you take the time to develop your own life outside of the marriage and the relationship.

You need to both be willing to give the other space and time away in order to grow. If you think that spending as much time together as possible is going to work for you, you may be shocked to see just how much that doesn't work in a long term relationship.

Be ready and be willing to support the interests of your partner so that you can both learn and feel nurtured in learning new things. And when you have new things to share, you never run out of things to say!

Relationship Advice: Important Questions To Ask BEFORE Getting Married

Is anyone ever really ready?

A very valid case could be made for the fact that you're never really ready for marriage and an engagement, but you try anyway. Things aren't going to be perfect, but they should feel perfect for you. In every relationship, there are going to be ups and downs, but it's what you do with those moments that will define you as a couple.

This is why it's so important to make sure you ascertain your readiness for marriage. A wedding proposal is a big step that shows you are ready to become committed to your partner, and what better time to explore your own feelings?

Getting engaged is a time of nervous excitement. It's a big step in any relationship, but by examining your personal readiness for marriage and the foundation of your relationship, it's going to feel like the right step!

I.Getting Over A Break Up Or Divorce: How To Heal And Move On

As a psychotherapist specializing in couples therapy, I'm frequently called on to help clients deal with break-ups or divorce.

Common reactions to divorce or break ups are not just emotional, they are often physical and behavioral. For example, many folks report feeling anxious, like they have been socked in the gut or chest while the butterflies in their stomach affect their eating and sleeping habits. Sound familiar? Relax, this is a normal reaction.

Other times, clients report feeling mostly "numb" until the larger implications of the break up or divorce finally hits them. Everyone's individual reaction is different however, but one thing remains true: Heartbreak is very real, very painful, and most relationship advice aimed at helping people get over a break up or divorce is similar to grief therapy.

However, there is hope! While coping with a break up or divorce can feel hopeless or overwhelming, remember that time is a great healer. Always keep this in mind: Your problems and feeling are temporary, and you are bigger than both of them. So hang in there, because the longer you hang on means you are one day closer to feeling better.

That said, here are some steps you can take to begin the healing process.

RELATIONSHIP ADVICE: RECOGNIZE YOUR FEELINGS

A common response to negative events is numbness, but underneath that numbness are often feelings of hurt, anger, inadequacy, fear of the unknown, and loneliness. Honoring those feelings is an essential part of the healing process.

Try exploring your feelings by keeping a journal of your thoughts and emotions. I also encourage my clients to write letters. For example, compose a note to your ex exploring what you are, or aren't, going to miss about your partner. What are you angry about? What are you sad about? What do you fear this break up means? What was your part in the break up? What are some things about your ex that you'll forever appreciate or remember? It's cathartic to get things off your chest. Whether you mail it or not doesn't matter, recognizing your emotions is most important. And in the future, when you're in a healthier place, you can look back on it and have a chuckle.

RELATIONSHIP ADVICE: COMBAT NEGATIVE THINKING

It's not unusual to have thoughts such as "I will never date again." However, when having these negative thoughts, it's useful to ask yourself rational questions in response such as: What is the effect of believing this thought? What are the disadvantages of this thought? Is there is an alternative explanation to this thought? What would I tell a friend who is in a similar situation?

Using the example of "I will never date again," the effects of believing this thought are easy: You'll forever be alone, you'll remain unhappy, and create a self-perpetuating cycle of negativity. In short, you'll assure your own misery. An alternative explanation may be "I feel bad right now, which is understandable, but I won't feel like this forever and who knows what the future holds?"

MAKE A LIST

Another technique I recommend is having clients take a few minutes to write a list of all the positive qualities they offer. This helps them see that they have lots to offer future partners. What about you makes you feel proud? What would your family and friends say they like or love about you? (You may even ask your friends and family to assist you.) What are your achievements? Who in your life do you know loves you?

RID YOUR ENVIRONMENT OF REMINDERS OF YOUR EX OR "OLD LIFE"

DO SOMETHING FOR YOURSELF

LEARN YOUR MOTIVATION FOR ENGAGING IN RELATIONSHIPS

Be honest! Which of your needs was getting fulfilled by your relationship? Fear of being alone? Financial security? Did you simply stay for the sake of the children? What was the real reason you broke up? Often, it's because as a coupe you were either not compatible (didn't have the same needs, goals, world views, etc) or communication was poor. Therefore, to help ensure the chances of finding healthy relationships in the future, it is vital to learn from your past.

MOVING FORWARD

At some point, most folks become fed up with feeling bad, and begin moving on. In fact, studies show that these emotional rebounds can be very liberating and empowering.

My most important relationship advice is this: The past does not have to determine the future, and if you’ve loved deeply once then you are capable of experiencing it again. In fact, if you take the time to heal you will come out of the relationship MORE experienced and even MORE able to engage in loving relationships!

I.How To Approach A Woman?

The old saying, “The Knight In Shining Armor” still exists today like it did in the medieval times. Only difference is that we’re no longer on a horse and wearing our metal. These days it’s more of a male chivalry which we all men should show if we want to attract our woman. Women are always looking for their knight in shining armor all the time. It is in them to want to be rescued. So whenever there is a chance to help a woman in need, never hesitate. Just do it!

We may not be attracted to the woman we help, but you never know if there is another woman around the corner watching your good deeds. What is important is that this has to be real, a habit you gradually develop over time. You really should not do it just to attract a woman. The more you give, the more you get back. Just don’t expect it right away or else you’ll be disappointed.

So in future when ever you see a woman who either, needs help or rescue from a situation, go for it. Rescuing a woman is one of the surest ways to win their heart. Whether it’s from another man or an embarrassing situation, find a way to save the day and very likely you’ve immediately also found a way to her heart.

Woman unconsciously also like to see that you have good relationships with other women around your age because it shows that you are also liked by other women. She’ll find this attractive.

Never approach a woman too directly and stare down at her as she’ll begin to find you too intimidating or even creepy. An indirect approach is best. Try to also stay away from the usual pick-up lines such as the weather, buying her a drink etc.

You are much better off relating to her on some level. Try to find a common interest.

Its best to therefore approach women as a friend or casual acquaintance as this gives you the best chance to get to know her a little bit more and quickly find a common ground of interest. This can then be further developed into a full blown conversation. It also puts pressure off you trying to score on first attempt with expectations of a long lasting romance or a one night stand and then feeling stupid if you didn’t succeed.

Take your time, and continue practicing. This is the only way you’ll gain confidence over time. The more you do it, the more you’ll feel comfortable picking up women.

In the mean time, Good Luck!

II.What Do Women Really Want From Men?

Men have been trying to figure out what women want for ages, and to be honest that's an question that bears asking. Without knowing what a woman wants, how can you expect her to respond to you? You've heard the old cliches, that diamonds are a girl's best friend, that every girl wants roses on Valentine's Day, or that what she really wants is romantic getaway, but realistically, what do women want? Answering this question can take a lifetime, and even if it's an extremely enjoyable study on a vastly lovely topic, it will be frustrating, as well! Take a look a few pointers for figuring out what women want.

To start off with, women want someone who listens. This seems simple enough, until you add in the fact that you need to comprehend, digest and use accordingly as well. Say a girl mentions that she enjoys sushi. Just hearing this statement is not the end of it. To be counted an active listener, surprise her with a dinner at a Japanese restaurant. Women appreciate small details as well as large ones, so try to integrate this into your life. If she mentions being nervous about a presentation at work, ask her about it in the evening. This will win you major points in the listener category.

Remember to be yourself. You might think that a woman prefers someone who is all about her, but realistically, that gets old. Having your own interests and your hobbies makes you much more interesting. Keep in mind that women like being thought of as worthwhile, but too much is too much. If you spend all your time fawning on her, she'll soon start believing that you're a loser who has nothing else going on in his life, and the fact is, she might not be far wrong! When you have a busy life and you make time out of it to spend with your girlfriend or lover, she'll be flattered. Every woman likes to feel that her man is exciting and fascinating, so make sure that you display this. Trust us, women aren't looking for doormats that will serve them hand and foot all day, every day!

One strategy that you might want to employ is breaking it down a little bit. So know that the person you're trying to impress is a woman. Well, that breaks it down to a category that encompasses half the human race. Get more specific than that. Maybe she's a librarian; that usually means that she enjoys books. Does she work at a gym? That must mean that fitness is important to her. When you start gathering facts like this, you're getting closer to finding out what is important to the woman that you are interested in.

As you can see, figuring out what women want can be frustrating. When you're out there trying to attract the eye of the woman of your dreams, remember that you have a lot to offer and that sometimes, what a woman wants most is for you to head over and say hello. In the mean time, Good Luck!
